Attorney Elliot Olsen

Attorney Elliot Olsen is a partner at Prizker | Olsen, P.A.  He practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, and foodborne illness litigation.  As a recognized leader in these areas, he has taught a number of continuing legal education courses on a broad range of topics, including insurance coverage, appellate advocacy, trial advocacy, various personal injury topics, and tort reform.  He has frequently been named a “Super Lawyer” by Law and Politics, a publication dedicated to promoting excellence in the legal field.

Mr. Olsen received his undergraduate degree from Carleton College and his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  Upon graduation from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Gary L. Crippen of the Minnesota Court of Appeals.  Mr. Olsen is a Certified Civil Trial Specialist with the Minnesota State Bar Association and is a successful veteran of numerous jury trials.  He has also argued a substantial number of appeals.

Before Mr. Olsen became a partner at Pritzker | Olsen, he was a partner in the law firm of Gislason & Hunter, where he practiced for 11 years.  There he gained experience as a defense attorney, representing companies in personal injury lawsuits.  This invaluable experience as a defense attorney benefits his clients at PritzkerLaw, where he exclusively represents injury victims (plaintiffs).

Mr. Olsen is licensed to practice law in Minnesota.  He represents clients in other states by retaining the services of a local attorney, who then moves to have him admitted pro hac vice, meaning “for this particular occasion.”

If you have been injured and need to consult a personal injury attorney, contact Elliot Olsen at PritzkerLaw & Associates about a free consultation.  Put his experience to work for you.

Mr. Olsen is married to Lea B. Olsen, a broadcaster for the Minnesota Timberwolves.  She does halftime features for over-the-air Timberwolves games and also sideline reporting for Minnesota high school basketball tournaments.  Mr. Olsen and his wife have two young children.

When not practicing law, Mr. Olsen enjoys spending time with his family, trying new restaurants, running, and playing golf.  He also enjoys traveling, and has been to Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, and China.

Mr. Olsen is active in the community.  Below, he is at a bowling event sponsored by our law firm.  The event helps support the Highland Park Friendship Club, an organization that provides teens and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to participate in social and recreational activities.
