Super Lawyers
Pritzker | Ruohonen attorneys Fred Pritzker, Rich Ruohonen and Elliot Olsen have been named Minnesota “Super Lawyers.”
“Super Lawyers” provides a listing of attorneys in over 70 fields who have been recognized as outstanding in their respective fields. The information on these attorneys and their practices is polled, researched and compiled by Law and Politics Magazine.
With this information, the public is able to identify credible and outstanding attorneys in a variety of fields. It also enhances the legal professional atmosphere as a precedent of excellent is publicized.
The “Super Lawyer” list is published in a variety of leading newspapers and magazines across the country. In addition, the “Super Lawyer’s” magazine features information about the lawyers named in the “Super Lawyer” list.
“Super Lawyers” are identified first through a statewide poll in which legal professionals name attorneys who they consider to be exceptional. Attorneys may also be named by the “Super Lawyer” research staff which allows great lawyers who may have been overlooked to be recognized.
Once nominated, the Research Team of “Super Lawyers” then evaluate each candidate’s background, experience and professional knowledge. Before the final selection, attorneys must also undergo a peer evaluation and are grouped into practice areas.
According to the “Super Lawyers” website,
“Final candidates are segmented according to firm size (firm size categories vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction). Those with the highest point totals from each category are selected. Only 5 percent of the total lawyers in the state are selected for inclusion in ‘Super Lawyers’.”
Additionally, for the state of Minnesota, Minneapolis|St. Paul magazine releases a list of the “Top 100 Super Lawyers in Minnesota”. The lawyers that make this list are the top 100 high scorers in the criteria used to determine “Super Lawyers” in the state of Minnesota.
